Classic Funeral Service
Darren MacDonald Funeral Directors are now pleased to be able to offer a ‘no-frills’ funeral for those who want a more simple send-off.
This includes a plain oak-style veneered coffin for burial or cremation, with a hearse travelling direct from our premises to the local Cemetery or Crematorium. This option specifically excludes the use of our private Chapel of Rest for viewing, a church service, the use of limousines and announcements.
This comprises
- Local removal in office hours
- Completion of all documentation
- Cremation service at the local Crematorium at a time and date of your choice
- Hearse, a Funeral Director and four Bearers, travelling directly to the Crematorium or Chapel
- Simple oak-veneered coffin in standard size with name plate
- Service sheets and flowers are optional extras
- Package excluded from NHS discount
Funeral costs
The total cost of a Classic Funeral is £1,895 exclusive of disbursements (crematorium fees, doctors' fees, officiant fees. A payment of 50% is required at the time of booking, the balance is payable within one month. Funeral director offers funeral date and times availability for funeral service to take place.
