We offer a fair and highly competitive funeral pricing structure. Funeral costs consist of the funeral directors ' fees and any disbursements paid on your behalf, such as church, cemetery or doctors' fees; these disbursements are common with all funeral directors. It should be noted that some of these fees are increased by cemetery authorities, should the deceased have lived outside of their defined boundary.
This comprises
- Arranging and conducting the Funeral: £2,745
- Provision of hearse directly to the Crematorium or from client's home with all the necessary pallbearers or attendants
- Simple light oak-veneer coffin is included in this fee
- Choice of coloured veneer: Oak, Elm, Mahogany, or Limed Oak
- Conveyance of the deceased to our Chapel of Rest is included in this fee with viewing any time by appointment
- Minister or officiant fee and travel: £250
- Crematorium from £995Crematorium from £1,150
Total cost from £4,145
Additional costs such as a limousine (£300) second limousine cost (£250) or executive saloon (£150) can be added as required. For more details, please get in touch with our friendly Team.
Some formalities for a smooth process
We require a deposit before the funeral takes place and the balance is invoiced the week after the funeral. The outstanding amount is to be paid within a month of the invoice date. The payment can be by cheque or credit/debit card. There is no VAT on funeral costs.
Should you wish to make a claim for a contribution towards funeral costs through the DWP, we can offer advice and prepare an invoice, as required, for the process of application. See the link below for information.
